Irreconcilable Similarities

Divorced but trapped in the same unsellable Victorian, Jenny and Tom Slater split their house with painter's tape and negotiate fridge rights like warring diplomats. Their realtor insists they fake a happy marriage for open houses—which would be fine if Jenny hadn't accidentally started dating the buyer, and if Tom's mother hadn't refused to acknowledge the divorce entirely. With a financial deadline looming and their pretend marriage feeling dangerously real, the Slaters discover that ending a relationship is easy. Staying ended is the hard part.
