Never Use the Good Towels

Kelly Pawlak has no address, three references she wrote herself, and a Corolla full of labeled milk crates, and her whole life depends on Humboldt County never finding out. She survives by house-sitting for Arcata's comfortable eccentrics, quietly breaking every rule she ever made. Then she finds a naked stranger asleep in a client's clawfoot tub. He is charming, damp, and possibly the Bath Burglar the local paper won't stop writing about, and he has just seen her eating the client's anniversary cake.
