The Last Winter Altar

A midsummer blizzard descends on the duchy of Zelengora the moment soldiers destroy the last frost shrine, and altar-keeper Anica Pribić is branded a witch. Fleeing through an impossible winter that kills livestock and summons the pale dead, she is captured by Petar Antić, a soldier haunted by his own losses to the cold.
