The Feeding Floor

A condemned rubber factory on the banks of the Monongahela hides something far worse than asbestos. Demolition foreman Vince Pappas has spent twenty years bringing down buildings, but the Stenmark Rubber Plant in Braddock, Pennsylvania, refuses to die quietly. When his crew discovers sub-levels that don't appear on any blueprint—and walls that bleed, breathe, and pulse—Vince realizes the factory wasn't built to make rubber. It was built to cage something alive. Now his crew has cracked the cage open, and the thing inside is hungry.
