Relict

Something ancient is stalking the smoke-choked forests of the Oregon Cascades—and it's getting closer. Piper Hagen and her husband Nick moved to Edenvale for a simpler life: forty residents, solar power, old-growth timber, and zero connection to the outside world. When a volcanic eruption destroys every road out and rings the valley in wildfire, the community discovers they aren't alone. Massive, bipedal shapes are closing in after dark, and Edenvale's proudest technology may be the very thing drawing them to kill.
