It’s a cute book. I would say like middle school age. I’m about midlife and it seems too young for me. I usually like young adult novels. This is younger.
About this audiobook
Summary
Piotr has scrubbed the marble halls of the Academy of High Sorcery for years, invisible to the noble mages who stride past him. Then a three-hundred-year-old wand—one that has rejected every aristocratic hand—chooses his. Now the cleaning boy stands among students who despise him, a headmistress who wants him dead, and trials designed to ensure he never survives. But the wand carries memories its masters tried to bury, and Piotr's greatest weapon isn't magic—it's conviction.
