Cold Quarry

Three armed strangers seize a remote homestead in northern British Columbia, holding two parents hostage over a lithium deposit worth billions. Their children — sixteen-year-old Alec and twelve-year-old Piper — escape into the wilderness with nothing but winter gear and a compass. A hundred and eighty miles of freezing rivers, bear country, and glacial crossings stand between them and the nearest town. No one knows their parents are in danger. No one is coming to help.
