The Listening Cliff

Erin Walsh is going deaf, and she has told no one. Keeping that secret won her a winter on Gaunt Island, a frozen spike of volcanic rock in the South Atlantic, where she must finish the albatross census left behind by a recordist who fell from the sea cliffs eight months ago.
