Lejla Delić teaches stroke survivors in south St. Louis to speak again, and her newest patient is a retired Serb trucker who can barely say a word. Then, during a singing exercise, he sings the old love song once played over the loudspeaker of the Bosnian camp where her father vanished, and adds two words that are not in the lyrics. If Dragan Petrović knows where her father's bones lie, how far will Lejla go to make him tell her?
