When Mountains Burn

A volcano swallows a city. A father tears himself in two. On the morning Vesuvius erupts in 79 AD, Pompeian metalsmith Quintus Severus faces an impossible decision—plunge back through streets raining fire to rescue the blind old master who taught him everything, or stay with his wife and children as the world collapses around them. Choosing both means surviving neither may be possible. Beneath the ash and thunder, loyalty and love wage their own war against annihilation.
