The Dinner Party

Molly Latham has spent six sleepless months learning to hear her daughter breathe through a baby monitor. Then, at nine-fifteen on the night of her third anniversary, she climbs the stairs of her Connecticut colonial and finds an empty crib, an unconscious sitter, and a window cut open from the outside. Six adults were downstairs drinking wine. One of them is lying. Every hour Molly spends unravelling their secrets is an hour her baby is somewhere in the dark.
