Pollution

Lukas Quintana wakes from cryosleep aboard a ship he doesn't remember boarding, carrying a message from his past self: Earth's magnetosphere is dying, poisoned by an exotic particle stream from the Veil Nebula, and he's the only person who can stop it. Armed with experimental faster-than-light technology and nothing left to lose, he must journey deeper into interstellar space than any human has gone. But what he finds at the source of the stream will challenge everything he knows about catastrophe, responsibility, and what it means to not be alone in the universe.
