Empire of Debts

A convicted debtor rots in a harbor prison while the merchant-republic of Korvaine thrives on secrets and blood money. Tench Ostvald is offered a deal he can't refuse: assemble a crew of specialists and break into the Ashkelon, a fortress anchored in open water, to extract a chemist before his execution.
